Your mental health and wellbeing matters

Psychotherapy serves as a space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a safe and supportive space. It’s a collaborative process where you and I will work together to identify and address the pieces that are impacting your mental health and overall well-being.

Clinical Specialties

Individual Therapy

This format of therapy is centered around deepening one’s understanding of themselves. This can include looking at relationships, patterns, and self talk. With awareness comes a greater ability to shift or loosen the grip of negative thoughts or behaviors, resulting in a deeper sense of control over one’s life. This type of therapy is applicable to both adults and adolescents, adjusted to the developmental stage currently at. An incorporation of tools and resources to utilize throughout day to day life is woven in dependent upon need.

Parent Counseling

When working with adolescents, part of the comprehensive care plan includes folding parents in. This will look like sessions or check ins to discuss how best to support their child, strengthen the parent-child relationship, and address concerns.

How I work

Assess

Together we’ll go over past experiences and relevant history, looking at biological, psychological, and social factors to ensure a greater understanding of what factors are at play and what is warranted. This allows me to properly assess whether the type of therapy I provide might be appropriate and how to build out treatment goals.

Develop

Utilizing information gathered through assessment, we’ll collaborate around treatment goals and objectives. This will serve as guiding posts for the path and direction we take. Alongside assessment, review of treatment plans and goals will be incorporated to ensure alignment with present needs and concerns.

Support

The type of therapy I provide is structured to support long lasting change and deepen one’s connection to themselves. As a result, consistency with this work is crucial. The frequency and length of psychotherapy services varies depending on the work being done, and will be determined on an individual basis.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers, like ourselves, need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask us for a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit  www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
